The elevator door opens directly into my 350 square meter penthouse suite in which Madonna once resided. I step onto the gigantic breadth of the roof terrace. Athens is lying below me and the Acropolis in front of me. Surrounded by a fascinating play of clouds I begin to paint the Parthenon with the greatest respect. The sky is constantly changing and my painting changes with it! The wind up here is strong and my painting is threatening to fly away with it. But then I find two heavy, bronze Greek statues to weigh it down. Satisfied with my open-air atelier, I finish the session with a dip in the pool. In the evening I am expecting some guests who were specially chosen and flown in to paint with me together. Everyone takes on my technique of only using their hands, a palette knife and a toothbrush very naturally. The results are wonderful! We crown the evening with an elegant dinner. And at night, as the guests who quickly became near to my heart say goodbye, we say “see you soon!” I close the door and feel very at home …

Die Fahrstuhltür öffnet sich direkt in meiner 350 Quadratmeter Penthouse-Suite, in der einst Madonna residierte. Ich betrete die gigantische Weite der Dachterrasse. Unter mir liegt Athen und vor mir die Akropolis. Umgeben von einem faszinierenden Wolkenschauspiel beginne ich ehrfürchtig den Parthenon zu malen. Der Himmel verändert sich ständig und mein Bild mit ihm! Der Wind hier oben ist stark und mein Bild droht davonzuschweben. Doch ich finde zwei griechische Bronzestatuen, die meine Leinwand beschweren. Glücklich über mein Freiluftatelier, vollende ich mein Bild schwimmend im Pool. Am Abend erwarte ich ausgewählte Hotelgäste, die eigens für diesen Abend eingeflogen werden, um mit mir zusammen zu malen. Natürlich übernimmt jeder meine Technik, nur Hände, Spachtel und Zahnbürste zu benutzen, Die Ergebnisse werden wundervoll! Wir krönen den Abend mit einem eleganten Dinner. Und in der Nacht, als ich die liebgewonnenen Gäste verabschiede, sagen wir “Bis bald!” Ich schließe die Tür und fühle mich wie zu Hause ...
