My atelier lies n the impressive setting of the Tramuntana Mountain Range at the edge of the picturesque mountain town of Deià, surrounded by olive grove and cypresses. The birds are chirping sweet melodies, donkeys are braying, a rooster crows from far away. Here I commit the evening atmosphere to the canvas. While I am mixing green in all of its nuances, I don’t hear anything but the wind in the palm trees and the plashing of my small pool on the terrace. This stillness is inimitable. Inspired by a huge sculpture garden and the countless art collections, I complete my work. The list of famous people who once also felt pulled to this hotel is very long.

In beeindruckender Kulisse des Tramuntana-Gebirges am Rande des malerischen Bergdorfs Deià liegt mein Atelier, umringt von Olivenhainen und Zypressen. Die Vögel zwitschern liebliche Melodien, Esel schreien, ein Hahn kräht in der Ferne. Hier banne ich den malerischen Rückzugsort in Abendstimmung auf Leinwand. Während ich das Grün in allen Nuancen anmische, höre ich nichts als den Wind in den Palmen und das Plätschern meines kleinen Pools auf der Terrasse. Diese Stille ist einzigartig. Inspiriert von einem riesigen Skulpturengarten und unzähligen Kunstsammlungen vollende ich mein Werk. Die Liste der Berühmtheiten, die sich einst genauso zu diesem Hotel hingezogen fühlten, ist lang.
