I enter a suite for the first time without a canvas. Fortunately there is an art shop a few steps away from the hotel. With that, I return to my hotel room with a perfect landscape format and start painting a part of the Bay Bridge. It juts out between two massive high-rises and captivates with its extraordinary presence. The sunset bestows upon me a pink colored sky, which entices me onto the streets of San Francisco and assists me in accomplishing my work.

Ich betrete zum ersten Mal eine Suite ohne Leinwand. Zum Glück ist ein Art Shop nur einige Schritte vom Hotel entfernt. So kehre ich mit einem perfekten Hochformat in mein Zimmer zurück und fange einen Ausschnitt der Bay Bridge ein. Sie lugt zwischen 2 massiven Hochhäusern hindurch und besticht dabei durch ihre außergewöhnliche Präsenz. Der Sonnenuntergang beschert mir einen rosafarbenen Himmel, der mich hinauslockt auf die Straßen von San Francisco und meinem Bild zur Vollendung verhilft.
